Dave Newman – Funeral – 27th September
Many of you will remember our former postman, Dave Newman ,who sadly passed away suddenly at home on 28th August.
His funeral is to be held at St. Mary’s Parish Church, Tetbury on Friday 27th September at 1pm.
Power Cut in Kingscote Today
Richard and I would like to apologise to everyone in the village who was affected by the power cut this afternoon.
We are having our fence replaced and the fencers unfortunately dug through one of the main power cables which then blew the fuse in the distribution point.
Thankfully, due to the efforts of the Western Power team they were able to restore power before it got dark.

When requested by a villager, a post is added to www.kingscoteonline.co.uk about various subjects such as fireworks.
Where possible, a separate email is also sent to villagers informing them direct about the fireworks/other events taking place, although because of (a) the limitations of the website and (b) the voluntary nature of the work done, it is not always possible to do this.
