Guided walks with Cotswold Wardens near Stroud, Tetbury and Malmesbury in August & September 2023

There are a number of warden-led walks coming up within easy reach of Stroud, Tetbury and Malmesbury. There is no need to book and there is no charge for joining the walks, ‘though there is a box for a voluntary contribution towards materials for our work on footpath maintenance. Walks start usually at 10.00 am. & will return to the starting point. A packed lunch is advisable. Additional details are on the Cotswold National Landscape (formerly AONB) website.

Road Closure – Ashcroft Road 26th July 2023

Ashcroft Road from its junction with Valley View to its junction with Barnhill Farm Road

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order to temporarily close part of the 501455 Ashcroft Road from its junction with Valley View to its junction with Barnhill Farm Road for a distance of approximately 219 metres.

The reason for the closure is for the internet service repairs.

The road is expected to be closed from 08:00 to 17:00 on the 26th July 2023 only or until the works have been completed, whichever is the later. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

Alternative Route – as signed on site.

Pedestrian access to adjacent properties and emergency access will be
maintained.
