Below is the latest edition of The Forerunner:

The Forerunner – February 2019

Essential electricity cable installation works are being carried out in Kingscote between 8am on Monday 21st – 6pm Friday 25th January. The area affected is between The Retreat and The Grange, Kingscote.

Cars will not be able to drive along the work zone although owners will be able to access properties.

Houses have received a letter detailing the area of works.

Yesterday, someone in Kingscote received a card through their letterbox regarding an undelivered parcel from Dukeshill Ham (no guessing what’s inside!!) via DX Couriers.

Thank you to everyone who made mince pies for Tuesday’s lovely carol service. Someone left a grey plate in the church; please contact Bella if you’re missing it!

A service of 9 lessons and carols takes place at the church of St John the Baptist, Kingscote on Tuesday 18th December at 7pm, and will be followed by drinks in the church.

We look forward to welcoming everyone.

Refurbished bells were installed on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.  They are in place, but more work to be done at some future date to make them operational.
